I found one serious bug that occasionally completely blocked NPVR during the move operation. The bug is now fixed and the new version with two additional features is now on the wiki.
Right, I love this plugin, but I was hoping for a wee request if I may?
I like that it sorts the shows into a sort of single heading under Archived Movies, but it does this by prefixing the Dir Name (Archived Movies) to the Show Name, which results in all my Show or Movie Icons going south. When you uncheck the Names2Title option, then the show name is preserved, which is what I would really like, but then all the Archived Shows remain in recordings. So what would be great, if possible, is to have a MENU, in the Main Menu List, called "Archived Recordings" (or whatever you want to call it), from which I can access all the Archived SHOWS, which (by unselecting the Names2Title option), would retain their show names (and icons). Is this possible please? Thanks! k. btw - apologies for a duplicate request here for NPVRs Native Archiver: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post440982

For both of these options they stay in Recordings actually, for the first one it groups them all together under the same name (in your case Archived Movies, in my case _Flm or _Doco or _Keep ect.) & for the second it just moves the actual recording to a different physical location or disk. This sounds more like you are actually requesting a different plugin for displaying video files rather than a change to the Files plugin?? It would seem to me that "maybe" it would be better to request that if there is a "showname.jpg" in the media\shows directory if it would copy it into the new archive location as folder.jpg (which BTW do still display even when archived as _Flm etc.)

No, it's not just about the Icons, it's also that it emans I don't have to trawl a long list of shows in Recordings, if they are in another Menu system. The workaround is of course the prefixing that it does now, which groups them.

Would you be able to see the full movie name if you edited the Location name to, for example, "AM" or "Arch" instead of "Archived Movies"?

I'm fairly sure I know what you are asking for, that is for them to retain their names (not be grouped) but be removed from the Recordings list.... this I can see being quite possible as an option for Files but then I'm not tmrt or even a programmer.
But then viewing them through some different option from the MainMenu is a different matter, but you could just view them through sub's Video plugin I guess?? For "me" the "Group" function ( Names2Title option) is the biggest plus feature about the Files plugin as I can group all my "Movies under _Flm" & all my "Documentaries under _Doco" & all my to "keep stuff under _Keep" & a few others. By using the "_xxx" format all my grouped recordings are at the top of the list & it is easy to know they are grouped & they are still retained in Recordings. If I use the TV Recordings plugin (part of TV Listings) to view them the SubTitle displays separately on a different line than the Title & by selecting "Title ascending" as my sort order it will display them in subtitle order which makes it easy to find the one I'm looking for.

Simply grouped under a New Menu called Archived Shows rather than thrown in under the Recordings menu.

Hi tmrt
I have a small request. I use files to move shows to an archive dir. Would it be possible to somehow select and move multiple shows at once, rather than one at a time? Thanks k.
