PCH lockup at the end of playing an MTS file from Videos, doesn't revert to playlist?

Hi Martin,

I've had this with other files too, but most of the time when playing an MTS (AVCHD) file accessed from a Videos menu (Folder setup in config), the PCH locks up at the end of playing an MTS file from Videos, does not revert to playlist and I have to pull the power plug to get it the NPVR menu back?

Any ideas on this, tests I can do?

There might be something specific in those avchd files that the PCH doesn't like. I played a couple of .m2ts files that I remuxed from .ts and they played ok. The files look small ~50MB so if you could put one on dropbox or a sharing site and give me the link that would help

Cheers Martin, the playback worked once IIRC, but all other subsequent times not.

I am not sure what I can do to help. I just played the 2 files completely, 4 times each, one after the other and had no difficulties with freezing. There is an older problem where NextPVR doesn't resend the full screen after playback, but that is fairly easy to spot with a screen that looks incomplete.

Hmmm... I feared that would be the case!
Shall I try again with the PCH and get logs? I assume the previous logs showed nothing telling?

In the other post you wrote "Play All" If it is a play all problem that could very well be a different scenario. Are they okay one at a t time?

Unfortunately not, that is what I tried in the original trial, when I did the first post.

Have you tried playing them from the C: drive (if E: is a share)

I can try, but E: is an internal Hard Disk in my server. Not sure if it will make any difference at all?

Hi martin,

before I test this out, can I assume by share you meant a Network Share (on another device/PC etc?)
