How can I add this plugin to NPVR?

When I click on this page http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...TVListings on
Quote:The .zip package contains all files necessary to run the plugin in the necessary subfolders, simply put them into your NPVR data directory (http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ction=edit)
I am asked to enter a password, username, I do not know. What does that mean?

Download the package from the link just above that one that gives you the problem. It looks like that link should explain where the data directory is, but in fact takes you into the wiki editor (of which I know nothing).

The location of the data directory depends on the version of Windows you are running:

* Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008: C:\Users\Public\NPVR
* Windows XP, Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR

Thank you, martint123.

So I did it like that:

And the folder of "TVListings" i:\downloads\TVListings\Plugins\TV Listings I have to copy to C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins and i:\downloads\TVListings\Skin\Default\TV Recordings and i:\downloads\TVListings\Skin\Default\TV Recordings to C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Skin\Default

It is some time since I installed it, but I'm sure I just unzipped it to the \users\public\npvr directory and everything fell into place.

Okay, that does not work for me.

I cannot find proper information about adding plugins. The page with the information I am interested in - http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ction=edit - I cannot access.

Thanks anyway.

Here is a link to the wiki homepage. You do not need to Login to look at the wiki.

Many thanks, Alex,

Alas, I need (cannot find the information on another page): http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...TVListings
see here:

If you're using another Skin, please make sure to download the skin files for your skin in the correct version.

OK I see the problem...

the data directories are as follows...

[DATA] = "C:\Users\Public\NPVR" on Windows 6 variants (Vista, 7, 2008)
[DATA] = "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR" on Windows 5.x variants (XP, 2003).

Thank you ACTCMS,

So as I have Win 7, I copy the folder called "TVListings" with its sub folders (e.g. "Plugins", "Skin" etc.) to this folder: C:\Users\Public\NPVR

It would look like this: C:\Users\Public\NPVR\TVListings\sub folders

That it is. I am right?

Not really. You want the contents of the Plugins directory from the zip to be in the C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins and the contents of the Skins directory in the zip to be in the C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Skins directory. I am at work & don't have in front of me, but I think you should see a directory C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins\TvListings that contains a .dll and a .db3 file.
