OK just a shot in the dark but if anyone could give me a guest account on a Sharepoint server also running SQL server I'd be very grateful. The SQL server aspect is optional as I can find another way of storing simple data.

I've been approached by a company to see if I can develop a remote data-entry system for use by their staff and I'd like to see if I can come up with a viable proof of concept. The company uses Sharepoint and its been years since I used it so I'm not sure if I can think of a way to do it without access to a system I can test on.

I'd be the only person using the guest account and promise not to do anything nasty (not sure I'd know how to).

Anyway, as I said it's just a shot in the dark. PM me if you can help and I'll explain a bit more about what I need.

Cheers,
Brian

Microsoft offer a vhd http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...n&id=27417 that you likely can load in a virtual machine like Virtual Box

Thanks Martin useful to know for future reference. I doubt my current hardware would easily handle a VM setup - never tried it but the old crate struggles as it is. Sad

I've signed up to the free eclipse.net.uk trial which Graham mentioned. It runs out after 30 days but I can upgrade to a paid-for monthly rolling contract if needed.

Cheers,
Brian
