recording service suddenly fails to start

As of this evening the NPVR recording service fails to start. Attached are logs and screenshots. I am lost as to why it suddenly breaks.
I rebooted with no success. I noticed I no longer have an ndigitalhost.log file. My firewall hasn't changed. I checked it and nextpvr.exe,
nrecord.exe, and ndigitalhost.exe are set as Trusted apps (Kaspersky Internet Security). I also disabled KIS and it made no difference.

You might have to try running it in a command line to see if it gives us an error message. From a command line run "nrecord.exe RUN"

I was reading this thread and typed "nrecord.exe RUN" from an Administrator command prompt, and see this: nrecord.exe crashes and asks me if I want to debug or continue.

RUN must be in capitals.

Can you still open that original attachment with the logs? For some strange reason it's not letting me open it now.

I uploaded the original attachment and put the "nrecord.exe RUN" image in it.

I noticed in config.xml that I had duplicate entries of tuners, so I deleted them all and then ran my batch file which kills all NPVR related items and restarts them. I right-clicked in NextPVR, selected Settings, verified the Devices info, then clicked ok and got the attached crash.

Its something to do with some specific data in your database, like a pending recording that points at a device that doesn't exist. Have you maybe deleted any devices recently?

If you start the front end and manually update the EPG, and let it complete, does the recording service then start?
