XBMC Plugin

Happy to see 2.5.9 out with xbmc plugin support.

Since I'm running linux clients, I've compiled the plugin from git.

I'm currently using xbmc 12.0Aplha5 git (30 aug)

I can install and enable the addon fine, however it doesn't work.
Restarting xbmc result in crash, unable to start xbmc again without deleting TV database.

The log from xbmc says the following :

Can attach the xbmc.log, and the servers web.log?

It never ran for me with alpha5 though. I think you need to be post Sept 15 after the merge for this to work.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Martin's right and you need a later XBMC.

I see, do you know of any prebuilt versions, or do I have to compile myself ?

I've been using the XBMC nightlies successfully with wileecoyote's build of sub's pvr addon.

Unfortunatly none of those are available for linux

Compiling an addon is one thing, I looked at compiling xbmc, don't think I'm gonna go there.
