xbmc on raspbmc restarts when loading channels from NPVR

So I have raspbmc installed on an rpi, and when I try to enable live TV it attempts to load the channel list from NPVR, and xbmc restarts. I'm not sure what to post here, there is no indication of why (likely it's a crash/segfault). I scoured the logs, and didn't find any of them useful. Since I'm new to all of this, maybe I'm not looking at the right logs.

I did try this with OpenElec, and had the same results. I also tried this on multiple rpis. I have no idea what to do. Please help.

I just downloaded, and installed raspbmc today, so it should be the latest. Also I tried compiling the sub3-xbmc-pvr-addons code, loaded the npvr zip file, and still had the same exact issue.

You'll need to post the xbmc.log so we can take a look.

I cant see any obvious reason in the log. It doesn't even look like it's attempted to load the addon.

My Raspberry Pi arrived a week or so ago, and I was able to get it up and running with Raspbmc and talking to NextPVR very easily. I just followed the instructions here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post444773

Sounds more like API errors. are you installing an old version of the plugin from a zip file? RaspBMC now installs with this plugin included. Slow you can try installing the latest nightly to get any new updates.

The issue appears to have been related to my channels and/or how they were configured. I deleted all but 6 channels, then ensured they were properly mapped to schedules direct EPG source. Then the issue mentioned above no longer happens. The import of the channel list, and EPG data is successful.

But (there's always a but), I now have new problem. I can go to live TV, and select any of the channels, and it starts playing it fine (after 5 or so seconds of audio/visual glitches). If I then stop this first channel, and then go to any other channel, it is forever stuck showing "Working..." with the busy icon thingy.

I can duplicate this issue with raspbmc, and Openelec. The logs I'm attaching are from Openelec, with debug enabled. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help debug this. If you point me to the relevant sections of code in the plugin, I can attempt to work on it myself. I am a software engineer, and I have lots of Embedded Linux ARM experience.

FWIW I have the exact same issue when using the current Frodo build(s) of XBMC or the unofficial PlexPVR under OS X. NPVRs status on the server system shows that it starts a live stream which then goes away after about 10 seconds. I've got timeshifting disabled.
