Faking NPVR install for dev machine?

Hi,

I'm wanting to do some development for something and need to get recordings, tv listings etc from a npvr install.

I'll install npvr on my dev machine, but this machine doesn't have any tuner cards and wont have any tv guide data or anything.

Is there any way to fake this?

Try copying the database file from a proper install perhaps?

If you install it, then copy your database from another machine, it'll show you channels/listings etc.

If you want the database to also show recordings, that aren't available on that machine, you'd probably want to set the following in config.xml before starting the app with the copied database:

<AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>
<CheckForRenamedRecordings>false</CheckForRenamedRecordings>

cheers, anyone have a copy of a db file they can share? dont have access to one on this computer and trying to work on something.

hey sub when using the db you attached, when i call

i don't get any listings for tv1, tv2, maori, u, tv1 + 1 and a few others

when i load up the webconsole that also doesn't show the channels without any epg data.

however inside the epg_event table the is guide data for those channels and the tv guide inside nextpvr app shows guide data for those channels.

any idea why?

Are you using a valid time period, specified in UTC?

yup, tv3, four, prime and a few others all return correct epg data, but tv1, 2, maori and a few others return nothing.

i tried using datetime.min/max.

since the webconsole (localhost:8866) also isnt listing those channels, perhaps its a bug?
