Hi.
This is the second time it happend to me. nPVR recorded only first minute of the show.

Here is LOGs:
http://hobring.esero.net/saf/npvr/Logs18.zip - look in "Logs\NRecord.log.2" for

2012-11-18 06:09:02.468 [DEBUG][7] Started recording (3165:2Big Grin:\Recordings\ANIMÁČEK\ANIMÁČEK_20121118_06100850.ts)

BTW, what is this?

2012-11-18 06:07:49.671 [DEBUG][8] Asking NDigitalHost to start: c:\devxxxxxx\null.ts

All my recording are allocated to D:, C: is only small SSD system disc, not much space left on it.

It looks like my system wake up for EPG update at planed 2:00, but EPG started at 2012-11-18 06:07:48.375 [DEBUG][8] Updating EPG and this caused 1min. recorging...
Why? Looks like HTPC was running 4 hours for nothing? That is strange...

This is the overnight EPG update. It can cause problems for recordings, so you need to be careful to put it at a time of day you're unlikely to be recording. I've got it on my list of things to improve in the future so that it wont interfere with recordings.

It is set to 2:00AM, my recording started at 6:00. 4 hours should be enought for EPG update Smile

Yep, it looks like that was the case in your logs.

It is set to wait for 3 minutes of inactivity then it should went to sleep. Npvr doesnot prevent PC to go to sleep while EPG update is in run?

It does prevent it going to sleep during the EPG update, but in this case it hadn't actually started the EPG update. It was about to start it. Just bad timing.

I'm pretty sure this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't restarted the recording service at 2am. There is a some logic to ensure the epg updater isn't started for a few minutes after the service is started, and I think it was during this time it went to sleep. If the service had just been left running, then it wouldn't have slept.

Probably best to not have it restart during the EPG update hour.
