NEWA was working but...

NEWA was working but after not using it for a while it's gone bad.
I was able to stream video to a WAN PC but now I cannot.
I can stream music and I can "play" a video for about 5 secs.

At the end of the VLC location line in the config tab..... make the last character a \ \vlc\

Well, as I said in the previous post, I did get NEWA back up(with your help).
But,,,
I found an 3 yr old DVD of a PC game in a drawer on Sat and decided it was a smart idea to install it. I noticed it was installing some Visual C components but was not concearned.
NOW, any atempt to load the NEWA page from anywhere results in "Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error"
I've used System Restore,re-installed NEWA, dnld'd and installed latest Visual C and everthing I can think of short of turning the keyboard upside down and running around my desk three times.
But I ain't A+ certified so can you give me a fix?

Try deleting items in the below...... the highlighted area may be different...... or you may have more than one on your system. Find the folder that has NEWA files in it.....

Well, the deleting didn't solve this issue and there were some other problems created by my game install folly.
So I purged the entire OS and installed W7 x64, so far so good.

I started having this "...any attempt to load the NEWA page from anywhere results in "Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error'" happening to me. So I followed the above post and cleared the items from the .NET folder. Upon relaunching NPVR I can now access NEWA, but:

1. It no longer asks for username and password.
   
2. I can't seem to find the tab allowing my to hide the tabs I don't need.
   
3. I only get the desktop site even on my Android phone. I used to get the mobile version of the site.

I shutdown NPVR again and restarted it.
I tried accessing NEWA from my old iPod touch and it gave the username and password screen. After entering in the proper data I then get the dreaded Runtime Error screen again.
My Android phone still just goes straight to the Guide2 desktop screen and bypasses any login screen. No mobile love.

Download the most recent release of NEWA and follow the instructions for installing the development build. Lets start with that.....
