Hi,
I installed the current version of NextPVR which runs as expected on my 64-bit Windows 7 development machine.
I downloaded and installed the nDroid Service v1.8.4.0 on the dev machine with all defaults, and opened the Windows Firewall (all ports) for nDroid Service exe file. I verified that the service is running.
I installed the Android Client App v1.8.4 from Google Play on my Nexus 7, set the IP address to that of my dev machine running the service and set the password to that for the NextPVR Web app. I am running a Fiddler2 proxy on this machine for debugging Nexus 7 apps. All apps connecting to the Internet run fine with the proxy running.
I received a Username/Password error, which I corrected by setting the correct password on the nDroid service.
Now I receive a "nDroid service upgrade required" message every time I attempt to start the Nexus 7 app.
I would have enclosed a zip of the log files from the Nexus 7, but don't know where they are.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
