Hi Guys,

I'm after a DVB-T low profile multi tuner card.

My current card is a TBS-6984 DVB-S quad tuner, but moving soon and will need a DVB-T card. I want one with at least 2 DVB-T tuners, but if there is one that has 4 I'll likely go for that one.

I would prefer only one input on the card, so I don't need to split the tv signal and have extra wires in the way. And I'm not interested in a USB tuner, this will be placed in a server cabinet so less stuff hanging around the better (also don't want a HDHomerun, I want a self contained unit).

any recommendations?

cheers.

NZ appears to use DVB-T and DVB-T2 so you should be good ... http://www.dvb.org/about_dvb/dvb_worldwide/new_zealand/

thanks, currently says unavailable.

starting looking at a TBS-6280 or a TBS-6220. don't know whats the difference is between the two (emailed company to ask), only a dual tuner, they have a quad tuner but its full height. I can fit two low profile cards in the case easily, so if needed i can just get two dual tuners. theres only around 10 decent DVB-T channels in nz, so i probably wont need more than 2 tuners, especially since some channels are on the same mux and nextpvr can use the same tuner for multiple channels.

anyone use a TBS6280 or TBS6220 ?

I have a Cinergy T/C PCIe card with two dvb-t tuners and a dvb-c tuner on the same card, it has only one input and comes with a low profile bracket. It works excellent here. I bought it from Conrad.de, but they don't keep it in stock anymore, maybe others do.

I have a TBS6280 working in NextPVR. The difference for the 2 models is that TBS6280 is a dual-tuner while TBS6220 is a single-tuner. TBS6284 is a quad-tuner but it isn't low-profile friendly if u need it.

When I last looked, Blackgold were doing two dual tuner devices for the price of one quad tuner. In the UK, Blackgold devices are available from other retailers ... I have no idea what happens on other planets.
