Something's happened to my live streaming; I can still watch recordings fine, but get a 'sorry cant play video' from attempts to watch live TV. My IP addresses have changed since getting a new router and changing ISP. but I think I've updated everything and restarted several times.

Only thing I can see in any of the logs is the NPVR web log

'Got Web Request (172.27.72.10): /live
2013-02-25 00:23:42.104 [DEBUG][6] Not allowing internet based streaming request from: 172.27.72.10

Which is the right IP and time for the failed attempt, but not much more to go on...

I think there is an issue in the base web server in 2.5.9 with some class b private networks being treated as internet. I don't know if a patch is planned but you can work around it changing this to true

<AllowRemoteStreaming>true</AllowRemoteStreaming>

Yep, pretty much what Martin said.

The nDroid app doesn't use the nDroid Service for Live TV streaming but connects directly to the NextPVR web service instead.
