Clients taking ages to start(30sec)

clients have started taking ages to start with latest version 2.6.2
Why what has changed ?

If I flick the same pc off been a client it starts fine

There is nothing in 2.6.2 that would have changed this.

Do you mean starting live tv or just starting the app?

i dont use live tv (no point Smile)

If you use windows explorer to view the share containing the database, then start the app, does it start any quicker?

If you do an 'empty epg' on the server, does the client start any quicker?

Are you starting to the main menu, or another screen, like TV Guide or Recordings?

OK just tried loading fresh DB with no channels(ie empty no recordings nothing) and it still takes 30 seconds to load

Were those npvr.log files in your zip, from your client? It looks like there from the server.
