WMA files crash PCH

I have a PCH that works fine with 2.6.2 apart from when playing music. Its ok with mp3 files, but if I try to play a collection of wma recordings, it plays the first one fine, but then reboots the pch when it should move on to the next track. The same tracks play perfectly well on a PC client. There appears to be some relevant errors in the logs, but I can't make head nor tail of them. I'd be grateful if someone with a better understanding could point me in the right direction.

Personally in the end I got fed up with trying to play non mp3's through NextPVR on the NMT (with either crashes or/& all the temp converted files being left behind on the hdd) so I have now converted all my non mp3 music too mp3's..... for wma's I used "Jodix Free WMA to MP3 Converter" which was very fast & seemed to do a really good job.... ogg's were a much slower more painful process to do though..

@trummel have you tried updating ffmpeg, the version that sub distributes was obsolete when NextPVR came out. Jaggy is correct that mp3 is smoother but with a reasonable server non-mp3 files even lossless wma can play
