Have a look at LM Remote Keymap: http://www.lmgestion.net/@en-us/4/22/60/article.asp

I don't use the blaster features, but they seem to be supported. The Devs are active in their forums and it gets updated on a regular basis.

I've used it for years and it has been solid for me. I have it working with WMC, XBMC, & NPVR.

In Win 7 IR blaster cannot seem to do more than one blaster using IR Server Suite. I have been semi get it working using LM remote. I am about to put it to the test...but it takes me a long time to get around to it. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to use both IR serversuite and LM remote at the same time. IRSS takes a hold of the blasters and LM complains so I'm going to have to convert all my commands to LM from IRSS. I found the LM remote website quite good actually.

Here's how to set up the IR blaster:
http://www.lmgestion.net/@en-us/4/22/60/79/article.asp

Here's how to use it in GBPVR:
http://www.lmgestion.net/@en-us/4/22/60/...rticle.asp

Good luck. I'm hoping to get back onto getting my new set up working with LM remote plus three blasters in the coming months.

i'm using both ir blasters fine with irserver suite...version 1.4.2.4290. each ir blaster is addressable individually..
i'm using an original mce dongle..
i 'learned' my stb codes from stb remote for better results..[made the shortest possible code capture, no repeats]
but there are lots of pre-learned stb codes built in..
there are techniques i had to use to get even usable results, but i eventually learned to optimize things so i now don't even see my box change channels..
is this a basic cable converter box? or a full fledged stb? the basic boxes are hard to learn but it is doable...setup a few myself already and still working great..

I'm using a Hauppauge MCE remote dongle and IRSS can't control the two individually. I'm in Win 7 64 Bit. In the end though I'm going to be using three blasters - two from the MCE doncle and one from my Colossus. My set up will have a Colossus and a HDPVR for three total tuners. I am not having any learning problems with either software, it's all about controlling the two blasters individually.

I tell you though, these blasters better have a 99.99% hit rate or my SO will be really upset...

what version of IRSS are you using? certain versions had dual blaster ability bugs, and somewhere i saw incorrect documentation[old] on port usage..
cmdline help iirc, says wrong syntax, working for me is "-port Port_x" replacing x with 1 or 2...leave out param for all blasters..

i think your[jam_zhou] problem may be that you have the hauppauge dongle, have you ever gotten any software to control them separately?

i also had to make a util to blast to 2 different types of stb's from one blaster..http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post394524 tho it looks like attachment is gone, i'll replace soon..
it also makes changes faster by adding an enter cmd to speed it up and an 'exit' cmd to clear stb osd quickly etc...
[unnecessary unless you need that functionality..]

btw, i get 99.9% accuracy with my setup to a direcTV box..it's been years since i lost a recording due to channel change..

I think the problem is the Hauppauge dongle as well. I'm pretty sure that the LM remote software can control both blasters - at least in a test environment. I'd like to keep IRSS as the remote control software and the LM remote as the blaster software but IRSS locks up the dongle and LM can't access the blaster ports. I think this is also a problem with Win 7 because IRSS has to run as a service.

Although my other htpc which runs the AVC3610 neither IRSS nor HIP can control both ports independently and that's in Win XP.

When I get it all working I'll post an update.

Yelling is bad forum etiquette and should be avoided especially when asking for help.
