Is it possible off a newa web services call to transcode Audio only?

You can play with web\App_Code\Classes\VLCUtility.cs and pretty much use whatever vlc command line you'd like.

But does that change it for everything? I'd want it from a specific device so in the playback call. Was playing with a roku today and while the video played, I had none on our h.264 streams weird audio. Was thinking on doing a similar thing like you do for the popcorn hour.

Yes, but it would just take a new profile, and for UJB to define a way to pass a profile from the web service. I think that would be useful anyway.

There is already a audio only VLC profile that is maintained when you set streaming up from the Music Library tab. So there is one for video/audio..... and then a different one for audio only.
