I've never used NextPVR or GB PVR before, and I was reading posts on VideoHelp.com about IR Blasters included with Hauppauge Products and someone said that they work well with NextPVR.
Now, I want to know more about the success rates from people on this forum about getting IR Blasters included with an HD PVR or an HD PVR 2 to work with NextPVR.
I'm a former owner of a PVR-150 and I currently have an HD PVR.
However, I've NEVER been able to get the IR Blaster from either product to work properly and that's always bothered me deep down.
I have no idea what I was doing wrong and I would love input from other people if it's not too much trouble.
This is my only real beef with Hauppauge Products. Otherwise, I love them and I have previous experience using MythTv on Linux with the PVR-150.
I've had the HD PVR for 4 years now but I haven't done too much with it since then because I grew out of wanting to record television shows onto my computer and now I'm starting to get back into that.
I started wanting to record television shows onto my computer in early 2003 and started off with WinTv2000 using some really crappy Hauppauge card and lost interest in doing stuff like this around the end of 2008.
