I am using the happauge colossus

if I record a show, and playback using VLC or XBMC I have good audio and video recording.

If I try to watch live TV I have no audio but I get video

Audio is RCA and video is composite.

see attached log.

Thank you for any help.... I know it has to do with the decorders but I cant figure out which one to use.... I have tried them all.

If you play a recording in NextPVR, does it have audio?

Can you play a recording, then post the npvr.log?

While watching live TV, if you right-click and move the mouse pointer down to Audio Stream, do you see "Track 1 [MPEG1]" or some other audio format? Microsoft decoders should work fine for MPEG1 with any Windows version.

With no "Track 1" under Audio Stream, you probably need to go to Settings->Devices and update channels to current settings via right-click: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post457321
