Hauppauge Tuner Not working

I am using a Hauppauge Tuner WinTV HVR-2250. NPVR sees the tuners but does not find any channels on scan. I know that the tuners are working because if several tests. what could be the problem I am running Windows 8 Pro on a dell XPS 8500. Help Please. Had no errors on installation of the card or software all went smoothly.

Do a scan, then zip and attach the npvr.log and I'll take a look.

also please specify your signal source(s)? digital cable? digital antenna? analog cable? cable box?

With a Hauppauge tuner, the easiest way to add analog support to NPVR is to install WinTV7. That would also give you a MainConcept MPEG2 Video Decoder that you might need, since with Windows 8 the Microsoft decoder cannot be used by third-party applications.
