Martin, with reference to this thread http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.p...-advice-needed!
it seems that I have to move my Digital Devices card to my testrig for now, but I'll have to add two more instances of Network Recorder to my htpc. Is there an easy way to just copy one of the existing with all the channels and settings?

I am not sure how merging works but what if you just used the same xmltv to import all your channels for each network record tuner and merged them in the epg? I guess it depends on how many h264 & mpeg2 channels you have.

If that looks like too much work, add the tuners and one channel each, empty your epg and compress your guide sometime when you don't have recordings for several hours and I will fake it. There aren't enough users to try and code this and also get it right.

Thanks, I'll try the first approach a bit later and report back.

Ok. I forgot to mention that I am hoping that you use the same channel numbers as the xmltv file too, otherwise it will be a lot more work renumbering them before the merge.

My xmltv file does not have channel numbers since it is generated by DVBGuide, but setting up one network recorder, exporting the channels and importing to the others seems to work fine. However, I got some channel numbers wrong, and I can't seem to be able to edit them so I guess I'll have to start over. How do I safely remove all the network recorders before I add them again?
