I'm having problems keeping my newly upgraded 3.1.1 server running. I have multiple DVB-T tuners, they all scan correctly. but a large percentage of channels will produce a blank screen when viewed in live TV and about 50% of the time result in a hang of NPVR on the server, followed by an unable to communicate with device message. Recordings seem to produce a small unplayable file.
The results are inconsistent between channels, for instance ITV1 and 2 play perfectly, but ITV3 will play once, but crash the tuner on exit, requiring a restart of the recording service to fix. Home and BBC3 HD will both give a blank screen and crash the server immediately.
I cant see any obvious correlation between the channels that work and those that don't. Some are SD, others are HD. They are also on various frequencies and all tuners.
I've disabled all devices apart from one and recorded a short program segment. I've attached the resultant file together with some uncluttered logs.
I suspect more information is going to be required to get to the bottom of this, but if anyone can take a quick look and tell me what else might be needed, I'd be most grateful.
I've only applied the unmanaged.dll patch that was for the PCTV 290E.
The same tuner and channels work fine in PCTV's TVcenter.
WAF isn't an issue anymore, as she has refused to use it at all and now watches FTA TV on a TV in the spare room :-(
