Hi all,
I just installed this in my Openelec setup and it's working great.

Only "issue" I found is that if I'm in the EPG, have a show highlighted and select it (all with the remote) it switches to the screen that would allow me to play it, but pops up the channel dialog.
I then have to cancel that and select play to play the show.

Is there any way to disable this?

As far as I know the OK button on my remote is acting like a left mouse click and I don't have the same behavior on my Windows 7 machine using the mouse.

Thanks for any information!

Is that sub's XBMC PVR, X-NEWA or X-NEWA Web Client?

Ok I'd check the system time and time zone to make sure they are correct. You won't get a Play option unless the block is on current time.

Thanks, but I think you may misunderstand the issue as I do, eventually, get the play option.

When I select the item from the program guide it switches screens to the show info, but displays the channel selection box.
If I don't enter anything into that box and select Done, it then shows the show option and gives me the normal record, play, etc... options.
If I select Play at this point it plays fine.
Also, the line in the EPG is in the correct time, the time on my system is correct and the correct time zone is set as well.

I'm just not sure why it's popping up the channel selection every time.

Thanks.

There isn't a channel selection box, there is a date selection dialog that pops up on info or C I don't know where x-newa even uses Done. xbmc.log in debug mode might help here.

If it's not a channel selection I'm not sure what it is then, it's a dialog box labeled 'Channel' that comes up with a numeric keypad and a 'Backspace' and 'Done' button.
You can also see this same dialog if you press the i key at the EPG window.

I'll see if I can get the log in debug mode.

I've also attached a picture of the dialog box.

Ok yes right that comes up with i for remotes without a numpad or a numeric, I'll need the debug xbmc.log to see why it is coming up for you.

Thanks Martin, I'll get this for you and post it as soon as I can get it.

I've been trying out Chameleon in the meantime and love it, but I'll revert and still get this log to help in the troubleshooting / debugging effort.

Hi,

I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but I've just installed the latest version on my OpenElec box and I'm having the same issue.
Here's the log: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10756920/xbmc.log
