RASPBMC disconnects from npvr

Good day guys,

So i have a raspberry pi running the latest raspbmc. I am running nextpvr 3.1.1 and all seems well except while i am watching live tv it seems to freeze around 7 minutes into the show. I hit a stop button on my remote and go to the menu page show and a little message will display stating "tuner no longer available". I then can select the channel again and the show will start again.

Is there a buffer setting that i am missing. I do have the mpeg license installed.
Please let me know if i am missing something. Also i am plugged in not using wifi.

I'm not aware of any issue that would cause that.

Do you also have a Windows machine with XBMC? It'd be interesting to see if it has the same problem, or continues to play.

I just noticed that my sd card is a class 4 i wonder if that is the cause. I do have a windows laptop i have to check it out tomorrow.

I couldnt wait lol.

So i installed xbmc on my wifes old laptop windows xp, wifi and ran into the same issue. So its not the raspbmc. Have any ideas that can help me?

A side note also. I have been looking for a good front end for npvr. So when reven came out with a samsung app i tried that. My npvr server did not like this app. When turning on the samsung app the first channel would work but once i would change channels my npvr service would die. I would need to restart npvr. This is what lead me towards the raspberry pi. I had to add the patched to make the samsung app work. Could this be the cause?

Nothing springs to mind. You'll probably have to reproduce the problem, then post the web.log/nrecord.log files, and the xbmc.log file (with debug logging enabled in XBMC).

ok i also just tried with my android phone (which i use to be able to stream live tv to wondershare) and the same issue always around the 7 min mark

7 minutes to me has always been the initial rolling file end error.

Hi martin,
If it is the rolling file end error what can i change to fix it. I cant even stream to my android phone like i use to. I think its something to do with trying to get the samsung plugin to work. I could be wrong but that has been the last changes. Also do you think you can explain that to me?
