NPVR + Gotham + RPI

NPVR add on 1.9.6, XBMC Gotham, RaspberryPi. Symptoms in both OpenELEC and RaspBMC.

Everything works in Windows 7 Ultimate x86 Gotham.
Everything works in Frodo on Raspberry Pi.

On RPI Gotham channels download from server.
When I try to tune to a station I get a "the tuner is no longer available" pop up and a "buffering 0%" pop up. Nether pop up will clear without a reboot.

I have applied the "3.1.1 Patches R1a" to the server.

Am I alone? What have I done wrong?

time shift is disabled.

That thread is not exactly the same problem. Mine works with Windows 7 and Gotham, but not at all on the Raspberry Pi. The buffering is stuck at 0%.
I used to have the buffering problem when I thought wireless would work, now using wired.
