I upgraded my server to 3.2.9 about a week ago. All seemed to be well until yesterday, when we noticed some expected recordings hadn't happened. On checking, all of the recurring recordings had vanished, as had any pending ones. I restarted the server and re entered the most important WAF ones. All then seemed ok until tonight when I noticed they have all vanished again. Previous recordings are all present and correct and I can schedule a new one and it seems fine at the moment.

Any one got any suggestions of how I can recover my previous list of scheduled recurring recordings and perhaps more importantly what I should look for to work out why they have vanished.

There are errors in the attached logs that are plainly connected, hopefully someone wiser than me can throw some suggestions my way. Also the server has created a sequence of recording-backup.xml files. Can I just reimport those?

Thanks as ever..

It looks like it doesn't like something about the data in your database.

Can you zip and attach your npvr.db3 file? I'll try it here to findout what it doesn't like.

I just spotted this, which seemed very similar. I ran the suggested nextpvr.exe -upgradedb and my recurring list is back, still no pendings though. Would you still like the database Sub?

Even zipped it's bigger than my allowed limit (2.95MB with 2.29Mb limit). Should I dropbox it, or can I strip anything out?

Do your logs still have that error I posted above, from your original logs?

I tried your database here and it seems to have loaded your recurring recording just fine. I can see 41 recurring recordings listed on the Recurring list in the Recordings screen.

No Sub, the logs from last night were clean and today I still have all of my recurring entries and the pending is repopulated. I guess the -updatedb fixed it up ok. I will watch for it happening again and if it does copy the db and logs for you before I start messing around.

Thanks for you help again.
