When I used to run GBPVR and NPVR side by side I used a separate tuner for the least used system - conflict gone.

Is it even possible to run EPG updates every 30 minutes for 6+ hours a day? That's basically what would have to be done with the current system.@sub: tvfiend raises an interesting point. running a full EPG update several times during primetime would be one work-around, but might be rather cumbersome particularly for those who use an OTA method where it needs one or more of the tuners to do the update. What's actually needed isn't a full EPG udpate of course, but rather just another run through the recurring recording scheduler for only the one recurrance_oid that failed, to allow it to pick up another copy of the failed show right away. Would it be hard to fire that off whenever the recording engine marks a show as "Failed"? I don't know about NZ, but here many cable channels and even some OTA channels do repeat the same show or movie 3 hours later; often times there's more repeats on later days, but sometimes it's just those two showings on the same day and that's it.

In my case, it's sometimes WMC recording copy once programs but mainly it's another device watching tv from an HD Homerun. I tried newa's live tv and it's full of technical issues (crushed blacks, bad half-rate blend deinterlacing, many dropped frames of 720p59). It would be nice to be able to get an m3u to watch in a player like watching recorded tv in newa. Does anyone have ideas to get around this situation?
