Recording import from recording generated xml

I built a new machine based on a Gigabyte Brix (A8). And was trying to move across from my virtualised machine.

I tried importing one of the xml files that are gnerated after a recording finishes. They seem to be a different format from the backed up ones Missing the event details.

Does this mean they're not usable?

Vidimport seems to find and use them but the time is an hour out.

You should be using C:\Users\Public\NPVR\recording-backup.xml if you need to reimport your recordings.

You can also directly import ".ts" files, in which case it'll use the available recording metadata files to assist in recreating the record. In this case you have to select the .ts file though, not an xml file.
