Did you map the channels for the XML file to the scan channels you picked up?

Sorry forget SD don't have an XML file, I use mc2xml which is free and yes the wiki post what I was referring to as mapping your channels.

Yes, I meant Schedules Direct. But I think I'm misunderstanding something here... do I need to manually update the listings every 7 days or something like this??? Once the XML stuff is taken care of? I was under the impression that once NPVR is set up, you don't need to constantly do something else...

in case it wasn't clear, if you followed the link I provided, you would then click Schedules Direct in that table which would take you to this page: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ulesDirect
I'm not sure why the wiki has SchedulesDirect as a sub-topic of XMLTV, since it's handled completely distinctly from the XMLTV options.

Thanks, I went through the steps for Schedules Direct and while it returned a list of channels using my postal code, half the channels found by the HDHR weren't listed on Schedules Direct... mc2xml also had the same issue.
Is there a way to have NPVR show the actual channel number i.e. 10.1 under the # column in the Channels list? I find it impractical that it's showing sequential numbers, it would make it easier to map if it actually showed the channel number. Is this normal behaviour? The same channel count (instead of channel number) is displayed in the TV listings.
NPVR does not support the decimal channel number system used in the US (and probably Canada?), only whole numbers. You can edit the number and the name as you wish, so you can/must make up your own channel numbers. I guess you could omit the . or - and just run the digits together, e.g., 3-2 is 32, 40-1 is 401. You will have to use the channel name to make the tie to the Sched Direct channel.
The two entries in "General" on the Channels/Details tab will be how the channel is shown in the guide. I see you have a number of Canadian channels. Schedules Direct may not include those in your local, US zip code lineup. You can see what they have for your lineup on the Sched Direct site by editing your lineup. Assuming they have Canadian listings, you can add another lineup using the applicable Canadian postal code. Then, you'll map the Canadian channels from the channel list to the Canadian lineup. NPVR will show you two lineups in the "Lineup" drop-down list. In summary, US channels are mapped with the US lineup, Canadian with the Canadian lineup. Edit: Oops, now I see you're actually in Canada. So, just reverse the above, and add the applicable US zip code lineup.

I tried this, I actually grabbed a zip code that was closest to the US/Canada border, but some of the stations still didn't show up, I don't know where they are from...it's weird.
