Pulse Eight CEC - USB Adapter

Just wondering I anyone has used the Pulse Eight CEC USB Adapter?

I use a Hauppauge 45 button remote at the moment and understand that I'll have a dramatic reduction in functionality using CEC, but was thinking of using both (mostly so if I already have the TV remote in hand that I can control basic functions without looking for the Hauppauge remote).

Anyone know if the Pulse Eight is any good, behaves itself with NextPVR, or if there is a better product?
