Is there a way to show information about the current video stream?

I am looking for a way to find some information about the current video format, like resolution, encoding, maybe bitrate, included audio and subtitles.

In GBPVR (yeah, has been a while ) CTRL-O would do something like that in LiveTV. Is there a way to get this information in NextPVR?

Sorry no, there is no equivalent screen in NextPVR for using the resolution etc. I'll put it on the todo list for the future.

You can see the list of available audio and subtitle streams, using the Green/Yellow buttons, but I'm not sure if you'll see much in the US. These are useful in Europe etc though.

I've got an unfinished plugin based on MediaInfo that does all this (although not for LiveTV yet). I've been sitting on it for nearly two years so maybe it's time to get it finished

i've been using the 'files' plugin and ffprobe in a batch file to echo details of selected files to screen..
