Hi all,

recently there seems to be load of hyper-activity on this forum? Is it just me?

actually I thought overall it's been pretty quiet. I guess it's all perception.

I thought it was extremely quiet too but a lot of posts do seem to be from new users.

true, I do note that a large percentage of new threads are from new users. existing users seem content.

As a user whose WAF has been at 100% for a couple of years, 'content' is a fair description... Smile

Having failed to record strictly , the result show 2 weeks ago (due to duplicate unique_showid in EPG), I estimate that it will be 2 years before WAF gets back to 90%.

Nooooo surely not 2 years? Some new show must be coming soon that W is into and NextPVR will perform flawlessly bringing back the 90% factor?

Successful recording = 1 point.
Failed recording = -100 points.

Yup, been there, still there. Funny enough my BT Vision box is actually slightly more unreliable than my NextPVR set-up!!!

Thanks sub et al, you managed to improve performance, for a small donation, over something I actually have to fork a load of money out monthly provided by a massive consumer company.

Of course gEd the -100 points work against me when it is my home-brew set-up

When it is BT's fault my gorgeous wife has a whole corporation to complain to!!!
