Kodi nextPVR hangs at Buffering 0%

I have configured nextPVR to work with my Ceton device and it works fine in nextPVR..

I've set up Kodi to use the nextPVR backend
I can see the populated EGP and Channels but, when I try to watch something in channels, I only get :Buffering...0% 00:00 and that's as far as it goes.

no.. I've got 2.6.0.0.
I get access denied when I try to download.. Is that where the donation comes into play? Where can I donate

There's a donate button and some explanation for the $5 somewhere. You can test to see if it will work by making a recording that doesn't play and running it through babgvant's utility he wrote when he was testing it http://babgvant.com/blogs/andyvt/archive...egmux.aspx with me.

Ah.. I found the donate button and did it.. It only let me donate $5.00 (worth more to me if it works)

It was suggested in another forum that I downgraded to a Gotham version of Kodi.
I installed a bare bones Kodi on another machine and... it worked!!

It turns out the issue wasn't with the version of Kodi but with the skin (Metropolis) I was using.

Tested on Kodi Helix with the default Confluence skin and it works great on two separate machine!

BUT...

I tried tuning to two different channels (from the different machines) at the same time and everything locked up. nPVR hangs at ...please wait.. then Not Responding
I can't even watch in nextPVR

SageDCT and NPVR Recording services are running
Firewall is off
I've since rebooted both machines, my Ceton device and my network

I did gain access to the donator version of SageDCT but have not tried installing it yet.
Will my configuration setting stand? Or will I need to start again?
Will I gain stability by upgrading?

The original log I saw was almost surely stream related so hopefully the good SageDCT will help on Kodi. There are definite issues working with other skins than Confluence with sub's addon.

Back to WGN, the first questions I'd have are, is channel 9 the correct channel number, is it authorized on your cablecard and is it copy freely? SageDCT tried to open it but reported

Yes .. WGN Is right. I was watching it this morning

I stopped trying to connect with Kodi after the system sent down.. I
I'm having trouble connecting with nPVR at the moment
