I am using NextPVR version 3.3.8 to record from HDHomeRun box. Over the air transmissions. My mother uses it to record her daytime shows.

Everything is working, except the recorded time stamp. Everything comes up as being recorded On 01/??/2000 . this time stamp shows up in the mediadata for the file. But the date modified shows up correctly In the mediadata. my computer time is set correctly. the correct time is displayed in the name of the file. The file date is not displayed correctly which is confusing.

all programs are not created in the month of January 2000.

How can I correct this problem.

Thank you.

I've never heard of anyone having that problem. Are you sure you clock is set correctly?

If you can post the logs, I'll check a couple of things.

Here's the log file.

As I previously said, The computers time is set correctly. In the mediadata, the Created date is incorrect. but the modified date is correct.

It certainly looks like NextPVR knows the date/time, and is creating files with this in the filename etc.

Quote:2015-04-15 10:59:16.283 [DEBUG][8] About to start recording (1637 on 41): \\VOYAGERAIR\VoyagerAir\LPA\TV\The Young and the Restless\The Young and the Restless_20150415_11001200.ts...

So....it looks like it's "VOYAGERAIR" that has the wrong time, and the timestamps it's setting on it's filesystem are incorrect. What is this - another machine, or a NAS, or some sort of file server. It's not NextPVR's PVRs responsibility to force the timestamps on any files it creates - the operating system is responsible for maintaining info on files like create date, last modified date etc, and in this case it sounds like it's doing it wrong.

It's a network file server drive. And as far as I can tell, There is no provisions for Setting the time and date. No way to access the RTC, if it has one.

Thank you for your help. I will have to contact the manufacturer to address this problem.

Joe.
