There was a couple of transponder changes at the weekend, mainly FEC changing. A scan doesn't find these changes as it looks like FEC is part of the setup for a frequency scan (although my little box ignores FEC when scanning 
.
I went to http://satellites-xml.eu/ to generate a new .ini file (a long time since I've had to do this) and copied to the tuning folder. Sadly an NPVR scan doesn't seem to do much and when I peeked in the ini file the downloaded one has text for some variables whereas NPVR seems to want numeric values. I did a search and replace and all came out good in teh end with a full scan and the transponder changes being sorted. I was just wondering if it may be possible to tweak yoru scan routine to accept some of the text variables???
