The way I installed the patch was to just drop it on the NPVR file I have been looking for the directions on how to do the patches but didn't find that on the forum

From the sticky thread:
Code:
NPVR Directories
NPVR has a program directory and a data directory. By default:
[PROGRAM] = "C:\Program Files\NPVR" (32-bit versions of Windows)
[PROGRAM] = "C:\Program Files(x86)\NPVR" (64-bit versions of Windows)
naturally patches are correctipns to the program executables so any new dll's should be placed in the program directory and overwrite the old one(s).

Nuts. nPVR and schedulesdirect had been working. I upgraded not long ago and my schedule stopped updating as of tomorrow but lost even that trying to fix it. Now I get a reply that its failing because my XP is too old.
"There seems to be an issue with the ciphers that WindowsXP supports and since it's now end of support Microsoft isn't publishing updates to XP anymore. That's why you can't connect to the load balancer; the load balancer and your client can't agree on security.
"
Why would it work a up to a week or so ago and not now?
So, now it's copy shows from TIVO to run through MCEBuddy. Or find another way to use schedulesdirect that nPVR can work with.
