Recordings List, File Names?

Hi,

Perhaps a dumb question, but it seems that when I retrieve the recordings list (using services?method=recording.list), I am not able to get the actual source file names. Is there a way to retrieve this information also?

No, I don't think any of the calls currently supply this.

OK, thanks. The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to write a Plex channel to play back my recordings - but streaming the .ts file from NextPVR to Plex seems to be very slow (can take > 1 minute to jump in the file). So figured I'd try to access the file directly.

Yep, I know about the channel - have actually been discussing with the author (and gave him some minor updates last week ... ). I like the overall structure of it, but I'm having issues with playback time - about 15 seconds to start up, 1-1.5 minutes to jump (say 30 min) in the file. That's what I was trying to work around a bit.

Sorry, on the patch - is this for the space in the name, or reporting file names?

I couldn't agree more! Any improvements I find will be fed back to the author, let him include it if he sees fit (which of course I hope he does). No interest here in creating something separate.

Now, If I could just get answers as easily from Plex as I do in this forum... . I have to say, folks here are awesome, very helpful. Thanks!
