I think this isn't possible, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. I still have the issue where not all of my SD channels are found in the scan of my Ceton device. Since all of my HD channels are found, I haven't put much effort into getting it resolved. One of the things I did do was look at the channel mapping page of the device after finding out about it on these forums. While there, I noticed that just like my QAM device, the various channels are distributed across many frequencies on this device. I'd assume the same frequencies, but obviously more channels over more frequencies. I wondered if say Comedy Central and Nickelodean share the same frequency, if I recorded both channels, would it use the same tuner like QAM does. The answer was no.

So, my wishlist is that if it is possible, support multiple stations that share the same frequency on a CableCard device being able to share a tuner.

FYI - I am loving that I can record the full padding for adjacent shows on the same channel using a single tuner.
Tuners: SD HDHR Prime (HDHR3-CC). SD HDHR Connect Quatro Tuner (HDHR5-4US) - only QAM.  URayCoder H.264 - capturing cable box.
Client: Odroid-N2 running knewc on KODI - connected via MoCA.
EPG: SchedulesDirect
Provider: Verizon Fios

Sorry, that's not possible. The interface that I use to communicate with the Ceton only gives allows for a single channel per tuner.

The best I can do is allowing multiple active streams on the same channel, giving padding on back to back shows etc, and allowing for live tv on a channel while also recording it.

I would have assumed it's not possible also due to the encryption? here I see the few remaining unencrypted channels are carried on the same frequencies along with encrypted channels, so that indicates the encryption is per stream; while I suppose the Ceton could have the capability to decrypt multiple streams simultaneously from a single tuner, it probably doesn't.

It's more the fact that you can't access the full mux encrypted or not.

but that strikes me as a symptom rather than a cause; not having access to the full mux is a symptom of the transport streams being individually encrypted; no interface to the full mux is provided since it would serve no purpose. it's the difference between a feature not being available because it just hasn't been implemented so far, versus it effectively not being possible due to an underlying limitation.

The entire mux is available on a QAM tuners. I don't know enough about cable card to say if there is a private key by channel, I don't that makes sense, keying it at the headend makes more sense to me, but basically the whole ts chain is different because of DRM.
