I have Next PVR running as backend for a Kodi client. When I go to record a show in Kodi it shows the recording is scheduled and then after about 15 seconds shows "Timer Deleted".

In Next PVR I set up a recording for a show and it shows are red in the EPG like it is recording but then it never actually records. I am not sure where I have gone wrong.

Any suggestion greatly appreciated and logs are attached.

Thank you,

Jason

It looks like you've got your recordings set to "V:\". Is that a local drive connected to your machine?

If it's a network drive, remember the recording service runs as a different user account, so it wont see any drive mappings you've made under your account.

It is not a local drive. So I should use the full path to the folder I guess. I'll try that. Thank you.

You either need to use a UNC path, like \\server\share, or you can change the recording service to run as your user account (run services.msc to configure this in Windows).

Yes that was it. I used the full path and it started recording. Thank you!
