Since I have upgraded to Windows 10 NextPVR many times opens on my secondary monitor even thou I do not have open on secondary monitor checked in settings. If it starts opening on my secondary monitors and I check open on secondary monitors in settings, then it opens on my primary monitor for awhile. If it opens on my secondary monitor and I turn my monitors off and on, then it moves to my primary monitor. Sometimes in black until I hit a key.

NextPVR remembers the last window position, and returns to the same location, which is probably why you're seeing this.

It does not remember last location and I can not see anyway to move Nextpvr to the other like most programs. I solved the problem by purchasing 3 Monitor Detect Killers which works on HDMI connections to stop Windows from detecting when monitors are turned off.

Same for me on Win10. Nextpvr always starts on monitor #2 If I Ctrl-Enter it zooms full screen on #1 then windowed on #2. If have start on secondary monitor ticked ctrl-enter will zoom it on #2.

It does not usually remember either the previous full screen mode or size/location when I move between monitors In testing this I actually lost my NextPVR windowed mode all together because of a bad setting and had to go into the registy to clean it out.

[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1071798433-2496748404-2538651120-1000\SOFTWARE\npvr]
"Position"="3915,-106"
"Size"="1013,599"

Perhaps NextPVR doesn't understand 4k res or difference between a laptop res and a monitor res?

My solution to this problem with Windows 10 was to get a Monitor Detect Killer device for each monitor. This is a device which works on HDMI monitors and HDMI TVs. It makes windows think the monitors are never turned off and beside fixing the Nextpvr problem, it also fixes the windows problem of rearranging your desktop when monitors are turned off and on.
