I'm using schedules direct for my epg. That data appears to be off by 2 hours. The data is coming down as gmt-7 and should be gmt-5. How can I fix this?
There is no known issues with this. Every time it's come up in the past the user has either got their timezone set incorrectly, or they don't have the 'auto adjust for daylight savings' enabled. You need both of these for Windows to be able to convert the UTC listing times to local times.
There is a dns resolution call in that connection code that I suspect is factor here, and it doesn't really need to do it. If we were at a different stage of the release cycle I'd give you a patch without it to try. Unfortunately my code is on 3.6.x now, and not compatible with your 3.5.7 install, so you might need to wait a week or two until 3.6.x is out.
no problem. I'm fine tuning my Media portal setup now (no offense). Eventually I'll settle on either nextpvr or MP as I really want that machine to run Win10 (for game streaming my xbox one to the theater ).
BTW, had to quick jump to MP late last nigt as the nextpvr kodi client quit being able to connect. No matter what i did it said nextpvr client failed to connect. MP kodi client worked fine so I know it wasn't the network connection. Seems like there might be some buggies in that kodi client. Sorry don't know more right now.
