Over night I had one recording fail to occur and the EPG automatic update also failed.
Yesterday morning I switched back to Win 10 (I dual boot with Win 7). I have had NPVR working reasonably well on Win 7 after tweaking a few things. I originally switched back to Win7 because I had problems getting NPVR to work satisfactorily on Win 10.
Yesterday morning I did a manual EPG update and then set up what I wanted to record. At 9:30 pm the computer woke up and recorded okay (except the same show was recorded twice). There should have been a recording at midnight but nothing was recorded. At 5:00 am there should have been an EPG update. The update didn't occur then but took place at 7:15 am when I manually woke the computer.
I run a ParallelProcessing batch file to stop the computer from going to sleep while a recording is occurring. It changes the Power Plan and is logged in the PowerPlan log. I have had this working well on Win 7. The computer goes to sleep after 10 minutes on the Balanced Plan and never on the High Performance Plan.
It appears from my reading of the logs that the computer woke at midnight for the recording but nothing happened and again the computer woke at 5:00 am and nothing happened.
Logs attached
