Installed update now video problem

I install the NPVR 3.6.6 and now have a vertical red line through the center of the screen. Never had before with version 3.6.5

I am using SAF6.3.1 same as before - but tried a reinstall and no help

I am also using the latest drivers for my AMD 770 card which were running good before the NPVR update

I am now getting subtitles which is a great improvement for me but would like to correct the video problem

Any suggestions on the video problem?

I am also noticing other problems besides the video, the menu selections hang and one time crashed. The vertical red line occurs just when playing video either live or recorded (also occured once is the small window playing a video - not sure how I got a small window).

Older version was better - how can I download a previous version?

NextPVR doesn't actually decode or draw the video frames on the screen, so it'll come down to either your video decoder, or video renderer or video card. I'm sure it wasn't 3.6.6 that caused this. I haven't seen any other reports of this. If it happened arounded the same time, I'm sure it'll just be coincidence, and is likely something like video driver update or something.

What menu selection hung or crashed? I'm happy to take a look at the logs when it happens.

OK - you were right - I got it fixed

Here is what I did:
Stopped and unloaded all the SAF drivers
Removed all AMD drivers while in safe mode
Removed all PowerDVD remnants in safe mode
Ran my JV16 registry cleaner

downloaded and installed new AMD drivers - I used the minimal install version so no extra stuff added
Reinstalled the SAF 6.3.1
restarted the NPVR 3.6.6

Now everything works great including the closed captions
