Change Channel Numbers?

Hmm I may of missed something here. So I am able to change the channel number in NPVR on my windows machine, but when Kodi pulls it in, I can see that the channels were rearranged, but they are numbered 1 through whatever. I basically am trying to emulate DirecTV's number order.

There is a setting in Kodi to 'use backend channel numbers'.

Yup, I have that turned on. Also when you click in the the channel details, there is a box that says general (that has the channel number in it) and the another box next to it with no label...by default it is set to 0. And then there is the channel name. Am i supposed to change that 2nd box?

EDIT: I messed with that 2nd box so you don't have to reply to that.. it's not what I am looking for.

Maybe my issue is that I am on Kodi 18
