I just downloaded and installed NPVR version 366.
The program seems to be working fine, but it is in full-screen mode. I need to be able to switch back to the Window mode.

I have done a search on the forum, and found a couple of suggestions, but nothing that works.

How do you swap between full-screen mode and the Window mode.

unfortunately, that was one of the suggestions that I had already tried. But I thought it was worth trying again. No luck. My screen goes all black, until I move the mouse to the top left corner. then it goes back to the way it was before.

that was a good try, thanks.

Any other suggestions.

I appreciate any help you can give.

Alt+Enter is a standard windows function which works on most applications - I'm sure someone on a higher pay-grade than me will have a suggestion...

Sounds like your pc needs the drivers or the device fixed sorted
Could try a different renderer
Also try changing the resolution in settings

If you have selected "VMR9 FSE" in settings for your Video Render you can't get out of full screen mode... FSE=Full Screen Exclusive (I think it is) Alt-Enter should work for all the other video renders.

that was it, unfortunately now I have another problem. No video. That seems to be the only video decoder that works. is there an update to the video codec, which video codec should I use instead.

NextPVR doesn't install any decoders. It relies on decoders you already have on your machine. What decoders are you trying to use?
