better skin-support in xrecord

i was asked if i could add support for the plugins in bluemce2, now i'm trying it and it seems to be quite hard....in fast find, the letters and lists cannot use images as background, the keyboard cannot be changed (would it be possible to use revens keyboard, so there is just one keyboard for every plugin?). the only thing i can do is change the colours.

in xrecord i maybe found a bug: changing the position of the navigation-element doesn't change anything.

would it be possible to change those things in the future? i really like the plugins and would like to use them in the skins.

dottore - are you using the latest (ie 2.1) version of xrecord? Jorm's put a lot more explanation into the skinnable elements in the 2.x release, and it seems to be OK for me - what exactly are you trying to set up?

xrecord skinning works (except the button-position), fastfind seems to make problems....i'll take a close look, maybe i have an old version (i downloaded yesterday, but who knows...)

that post didn't really help. as i said, xrecord can be skinned without problems (except the button-position). but what about fastfind and the keyboard? i need compositeimages for the buttons, but i can only change the color. or am i missing something?

if there is any possibility to change the alphabet-buttons and the lists in fastfind (not only the color), i would like to know how it works, otherwise i would suggest this as a wish... ;-)

I have revens code for the keyboard. I had done my keyboard before reven that is why there are two of them. I will look into it.

that will be really nice, thank you....could you then try to implement buttons and lists as compositeimages? just an idea, nothing bad though. i like fastfind and use it every day.
