I recently installed (fist install) nextPVR on a vista machine I have. The install completed ok. I was able to go through and get all the ATSC stations configured. However when trying to watch live TV I got the message "Unexpected socket exception calling StartStream(): System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8968".
From what I read in the Forums there should be a windows backend service called 'NPVR' that handles the ability to watch live tv. So I went to look for the service, there was no service installed. I verified this using the NPVRServiceControl app. It also stated that the service was not installed.
Is there any way for me to install just the service without having to reinstall nextpvr? I also dont want to lose all the work I have done from the tuner config side.
