File won't play

Hello.

I'm hoping for help on why a particular recording can not be played by NextPVR or VLC. The recording was made by NextPVR 3.7.7 on 7/13/16 at 10pm. It's a 4-second 10MB clip at http://expirebox.com/download/750849b8ef...37f08.html. Until now, I have always been able to play whatever NextPVR recorded. It is playable by AVS Media Player and generates a different GraphStudioNext graph than that of a normally VLC-playable recording.

Would appreciate any help.

The PAT changes on this file so VLC must just use the first one. The first PAT that matches the video is at packet 163

I downloaded the file yesterday, and could see it having issues playing the file, but ran out of time to look into it. I've got to get on a plane in a few hours, so it'll have to wait for a week until I get back.

I changed that first "bad" PAT to a null packet and the file plays in NextPVR.

For first checks I use http://www.pjdaniel.org.uk/mpeg/ use PID zero to look for the PAT

I have no idea if your problem relates to this thread. Can you place a short sample somewhere for download?

I no longer had the file, so would need another sample to look at. Ideally a little longer than the original sample.
