After the update to the Windows 10 Upgrade my picture went black but I had sound. Microsoft 10 "anniversary" Upgrade dropped support for MJPEG and H.264 for USB webcams. It affected my Hauppauge. too. Apparantly they only want to support YUY2 USB video devices.
After this registry edit, the picture came back, as does my webcam.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform, add DWORD "EnableFrameServerMode" and set to 0.
