I just installed Next PVR. All my channels show up in the tv guide, but there are no show details. Also, when I go to live tv, I get a message that says "Live TV buffer directory does not exist: C:\Temp"

Most people in that part of the world use Schedules Direct for their listings. With the new SD-JSON service, lineups are managed within the application according to the website. How do I use Schedules Direct in Next PVR? I am thinking I need to put some sort of information into npvr to get the channel lineup.

Has anybody had luck with the free epg services for North America? I tried mc2xml, it created an xml file with alot of stuff in it, but nothing displayed on the tv guide. Maybe zap2xml is better?, or is the only free service the bit you get OTA- most of the channels I care about are served, but some remain without program data.

The problem with "free" EPG services is that the website(s), these service scrap from, change their layout(HTML) from time to time. At least once a year. At which point you no longer get a valid EPG guide that NextPVR can use. You now have to wait until the developer of the EPG service plays whack a mole to correctly scrape the new HTML. This could take days or even weeks. You have to decide if the risks involved are worth it.

I just got a subscription to schedules direct and watched the video on how to get it to work with nextpvr. All the steps go fine. But after completing them I still have no show info in the tv guide. What can I do to fix this?
